In this survey, conducted from Poush 1, 2082 to Baishakh 10, 2083 (B.S.), a total of 3,616 automated camera traps were used across 1,848 grids. From these cameras, 11,911 photographs of tigers were obtained.

Note: Tiger census is conducted every four years in Nepal.
Currently, it is estimated that there are over 5,600 tigers worldwide.
